Filing Trademark
- Entire address, nationality, and identity of the applicant.
- Clearly visible mark (up to 10 x 10 cm).
- List of products and/or services (classes) that the application covers; it is advised to submit this list in French to prevent mistranslation.
- Certified copy of the previous application in the event that priority is asserted. After the filing date, the priority document can be transmitted at least three months later.
- A simple power of attorney that has been signed (without legalisation).
Duration
In Ghana, a trademark registration is effective from the filing date for a period of ten years. Ten-year renewal periods are available for the registration.
