Filing Documents

Requirements
A copy of a Power of Attorney that has been simply signed must be filed within three months of the date of filing. If the POA is not submitted within the allotted time, it may still be submitted to the TMO within the next three months by paying an extra amount. Notarization or legalisation are not necessary.
Trademark Renewal
A trademark can be registered for a maximum of ten years from the date of filing, after which it can be renewed for further ten years. It is possible to renew a trademark registration six months prior to its expiration and six months following it.
