Eritrea has a trademark law, hence the only method to protect trademarks is through common law, which entails publishing a warning in the country’s most popular newspaper. As a result, there is no clause regarding mark renewal. Nonetheless, it is advised that the warning notice(s) be issued again every two to three years.
